The Boat That Rocked: THE TRAILER

As well as using posters, in order to sell the film to the public, and  encourage people to watch it on its release, a theatrical trailer was distributed, as shown here.

The film is evidently a feel-good film, presenting actors which we may recognize from recent 'comedies'. We are also informed, in the few minutes of watching, that it was created by Richard Curtis. For those who would not immediately know the name, mentioned are three of his most successful films, intended to appeal to the audience watching the trailer: 'Notting Hill', 'Four weddings and a Funeral', and 'Love Actually'. These are primarily 'Rom-Coms', but if this genre didn't appeal to you, then the music certainly would. Taken from the 1960's, the music alone could be reason enough to watch the film.

The trailer is full of colour, and the snippets from the film give us an idea as to the humour and fun included in it.
